Where they never thought they were in line, they found each other when they set up “Milito”.
Peter, once a businessman in textiles, traded his business for real estate in 2007. After two projects at the seaside, he focussed on co-housing, a booming business for today’s young people. He is passionate about creating quality products. With an eye for detail and feeling. With a nose for opportunities.
Line, who is interior architect and actress, was looking for a challenging and creative outlet when Corona suddenly stopped her acting life. During a long walk, in the Flemish Ardennes, she and her boyfriend fell in love with an old farmhouse, to be renovated. Luck was on their side and suddenly they were the owners of Casa Milito, Zwalm.
The story
Line asked more and more questions about the speed of life. And applied to the renovation works of the farm. With great dedication and love she started to work. The old barn was transformed into a beautiful tiny house with an astonishing view over the field.
During the long walks in lockdown ideas started to buzz. Father and daughter, two creative and entrepreneurial minds, joined. “What if we created a place where family, friends and business people can meet? To enjoy, to invent, fantasize, to brew, to design, to embrace culture and art and to connect again offline?”
They created accommodations that breathes tranquility, where you connect and discover, where you meet and create, where you can be inspired by their way of life and their sense of aesthetics.
